A family tradition of mines, or at least by most people I know, is to have Easter Sunday brunch. I love Easter Sunday brunch because it means good food and more importantly bringing the family together.
This Easter Sunday my mom and my sisters and I cooked up an extravagant Easter Sunday Brunch. There was endless amount of fruit, pancakes, and bacon. My mom even whipped a some egg frittata, one of my absolute favorites.
Not to mention one of the best parts, MIMOSAS!
A late breakfast in Paris after visiting Notre Dame. Delicious pastries and cafe lattes to keep us warm on this gloomy spring day.
Breakfast was one of my favorite meals to be had in Paris. I loved the necessary latte and pastry as well as the delicious egg meals.
This month marks the 1 year anniversary since I embarked on the most incredible trip of my life. Last year, I got to spend my Spring Break eating my way through Europe… Paris, San Sebastian and Barcelona to be exact. It was a trip of a lifetime and til this day I crave the foods that I’ll never find here in the U.S. 😦
To reminisce I thought I’d share some photos of my breakfast experience in Spain. Enjoy!
You read right, that wasn’t a typo. TWO breakfasts are better than none and here’s why…
So this morning, as I was having breakfast of course, I stumbled on an online article published on NY MAG which caught my eye with a title informing me that skipping breakfast makes you fatter than if you were to eat two breakfasts. Shocking, right?!
According to the article a study found no difference in average weight gain and those who eat a second breakfast.
And by second breakfast that means eating multiple snacking til noon! Which means great news for people like me who love eating breakfast.. more than once! So go on, on’t be ashamed to eat that piece of toast after your bowl of oatmeal.. 🙂
Since the NBA Playoffs are looming, I thought it would be appropriate to reminisce on the “golden” breakfast I had last year. For breakfast? Crisp and fluffy banana pancakes with a side of your 2015 NBA Champs, the Golden State Warriors!
Looking forward to an even more extravagant and golden post-NBA Finals breakfast! GO WARRIORS!
Today marks a holiday observed by breakfast foodies like me. National Pancake Day! Of course this means lines will bust through the doors of IHOP for foodies to grab their FREE stack. Well since I hate long lines and crowded places, my boyfriend decided to opt out and hit up our local cafe in Benicia on First St.
A short stack of banana walnut pancakes to celebrate this beloved holiday 🙂
Eggs. One ingredient… a million possibilities! Eggs are a staple ingredient in the fridge and one that frequents the bi-weekly grocery list, well at least in my household. Eggs are the very foundation of a hundreds of different dishes, especially in dishes served in the morning. Not to mention, they’re a great source of protein and just simply delicious.
Here are my top 10 “eggsellent” breakfast dishes:
- French Toast
- “Eggs In a Basket”
- Breakfast Burrito
- Eggs Benedict
- Egg muffin cups
- Breakfast pizza
- Breakfast sandwich
- Fried Eggs
